Brendon Delaney

I have been in the food business for over 20 years in various positions.  I got my start in the family catering business, Cygan-Delaney Catering of Highland, Illinois.  I worked with my parents, Daniel and Valerie Delaney through high school, college and beyond.  

After I graduated college,  I was employed by Sysco Foods for the next 10 years. Primarily I was on the sales side of the industry, but this position also enabled me the opportunity to consult with customers on ways to make their businesses more successful and profitable.  I was routinely tasked with consulting on menu changes for customers to keep their offerings fresh, interesting and viable.  While I was employed by Sysco Foods, I continued to work in the family business.

In June of 2017, my father decided to retire and my wife Jackie and I purchased the family business. We provide service for all of our customer’s catering needs such as weddings, banquets, fundraisers, golf tournaments and numerous other events of all sizes throughout the entire St. Louis metro east area in southern Illinois. 

In April of 2018, I partnered with Jeff Weinacht and Josh Leckrone of Pulse Personal Training in Highland, Illinois to start the healthy meal prep business CD Meals. With my knowledge and experience in the food industry, coupled with Josh’s dietary expertise and creativity, CD Meals and Kitchen was born.   We strive to be a great place to get clean, healthy, quality, tasty and conveniently prepared meals for any of our clients various dietary needs.
